A child's primary occupation is PLAY! Through play, a child learns independence to complete activities of daily living. At Koastal Kids, it is our goal to foster independence for enhanced participation and performance in all areas of life within all settings!
Sensory Integration and motor planning involve social-emotional regulation and shared engagement for optimal participation and social interaction. Koastal Kids aims to support the child's ability to create and maintain relationships while modulating senses and emotions. Sensory Integration is the foundation for learning!
Koastal Kids evaluates and treats a child's fine motor, gross motor, and visual motor strengths and challenges in order to provide appropriate intervention for enhanced skills. These skills are important for overall independence and function within home, school, and community environments.
